Description

Released by Namco in July 1986, Thunder Ceptor is an arcade 3D shooting game that immerses players in a battle for the survival of the Galactic Federation. Players pilot the "Thunder Ceptor" hyper-way fighter, tasked with fending off alien interference to deliver vital geltonium minerals to a Federation base. Please note that when playing this title, the NVRAM must be initialized to protect the analog input hardware, and adding credits during the instruction screen may occasionally cause display errors. We invite you to experience the game’s unique behavior and technical background as a valuable artifact representing the innovative challenges of its time.

Story

In the war between the Galactic Federal Space Force and an alien lifeform, the Federation developed the V-28, a desperate final weapon. The pilot who has seized geltonium—a special mineral essential for the V-28's operation—must pilot the hyper-way fighter "Thunder Ceptor" and make their way back to the Federal base, eliminating any aliens that stand in their way.
