Description

Released by Jaleco in 1985, this title is a unique driving-action game in which a 15-year-old girl named Clarice drives her beloved car to paint over the highways of 12 cities around the world. Players must navigate each course while fending off police cars with oil cans and dodging obstacles like pesky cats and bamboo shoots. A key highlight is the game's soundtrack, which features arrangements of Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto, along with the fun of searching for hidden, secret characters. Notably, the original arcade hardware included a feature where the player would earn infinite lives upon reaching 900,000 points. Furthermore, minor graphical and audio quirks resulting from the technology of the era are now fondly remembered as the charm unique to retro gaming.

Story

15-year-old Clarice sets out in her beloved car, the "Clarice Car," in search of her ideal man, racing across highways around the world. As she travels from country to country, she is pursued by police patrol cars, which she fends off by firing oil cans as weapons. Her goal is to travel to cities across the globe and paint over every road she traverses.
