Iron Horse

Released by Konami in 1986, this action game is set in the American frontier. Players take on the role of Sheriff Harry Hawks, tasked with reclaiming gold and rescuing hostages from a train seized by a gang of outlaws. Utilizing a 4-way joystick and three buttons, you must fight your way through the train. A signature feature of the game is the choice of three weapons at the start: a whip, a pistol, or your own fists. Although the game was initially released overseas before being brought to the domestic market by Kawakusu, its distribution remained limited at the time.

Set in the American frontier, a sheriff rises to action to reclaim a train that has been hijacked by a gang of robbers who have stolen its gold bullion. Players control the sheriff as he advances through the train, fighting the gang along the way. Your mission is to defeat enemies, recover the stolen gold, and ultimately rescue the hostages.
