Description

Released in 1989 by Visco for arcades, this title is a vertically scrolling shoot-'em-up that tasks players with standing up to the "Galaxy Heiter," an enemy force plotting to invade across time and space. Players pilot the "Asuka," a combat aircraft capable of chronospatial travel, battling through four stages where past and present collide, ranging from modern cities to ancient Egypt. While the game utilizes orthodox systems such as power-ups and bombs, it is distinguished by a severe difficulty level where even a single touch by an enemy projectile during bonus stages results in a loss. Though it draws inspiration from Taito's shooting titles of that era, the game’s unique balance has earned it recognition today as a valuable piece of historical gaming documentation.

Story

In 1996, Earth came under attack by the "Galaxy Haiter," invaders capable of transcending time and space. The Galaxy Haiter extended their reach not only to the present day but to the Earth’s past as well, plunging humanity into crisis. In response, humanity developed the "Asuka," a fighter aircraft capable of time travel, and began their counterattack.
