Description

Released by Nintendo in 1982, Donkey Kong Jr. is the action-packed sequel to its predecessor, which became a widespread cultural phenomenon. In this installment, players control the protagonist’s son, Jr., as he navigates various stages—ranging from jungles to factories—to rescue his father, Donkey Kong, from the clutches of Mario. While retaining the original control scheme of a four-way joystick and jump button, the game expands the breadth of action through more refined and sophisticated stage designs. Notably, the title remains a rarity in the series, featuring Mario as the antagonist throughout the entire game.

Story

To rescue his father, Donkey Kong, who was captured and locked in a cage by Mario in the previous game, his son Donkey Kong Jr. sets out on a mission. Jr. must overcome various obstacles and climb through stages like jungles and factories. The goal of this game is to make your way to his father while avoiding the enemies and traps that block your path.
