Bomb Bee

Released in September 1979, Bomb Bee is the sequel to Gee Bee, a title that fused elements of Breakout and pinball. As Namco’s first arcade game to utilize a color monitor, this installment introduced a vibrant visual experience, alongside numerous new features such as the "1,000pts Bumper" that appears once all blocks at the top of the screen are cleared. Like its predecessor, the game uses a paddle controller, and a scoring system that lets players progressively aim for higher points adds an extra layer of excitement to the gameplay.
