Released by Nichibutsu in 1980, Moon Cresta is a landmark title that introduced the innovative concept of "docking" to the history of shooting games. The experience of sequentially assembling three separate ships into their most powerful form became a significant legacy for the company, one that would later be inherited by Terra Cresta. The unique tension of the game is further defined by its enemies, whose attack pattern relies exclusively on ramming rather than projectiles.
